A Qualitative Method Proposal for the Study of Strategy as Practice

ABSTRACT Purpose: recently, the strategy as practice approach has sought to overcome micro/macro dichotomy existing in its literature, well better integrate dimensions of praxis, and practitioner. To fill this gap, aim paper is discuss potential methods guide empirical studies (SAP). Method: proposes a method based on an extensive literature review. Phenomenology, grounded theory, ethnography, narratives are discussed, their components presented context studies. Results: articulates four approaches. Phenomenology used enhance understanding strategist experiences. Grounded theory considered develop theories about studied phenomenon. Ethnography contextualize daily practices strategists. Narratives path access stories Conclusion: proposed may be useful practitioner dimensions.
